In this webinar, we will provide an update on progress made by the Government and regulators to implement a Smarter Regulatory Framework for financial services in the UK. In particular, we will look at the Financial Conduct Authority’s consultation paper (CP24/13) on public offer platforms and its policy statement (PS24/9) on payment optionality for investment research, both of which were published in July 2024, as well as discussing HM Treasury’s proposals for a new intermittent trading venue (PISCES).
