Singapore expands scope of Cybersecurity law to address evolving risks
On 7 May 2024, the Singapore Parliament passed the Cybersecurity (Amendment) Bill (No. 15/2024) (CS Bill), which seeks to amend the Cybersecurity Act 2018 (CS Act).

A number of new employment laws came into force in April 2024 to provide greater flexibility for employees, including enhanced flexible working rights and new leave entitlements. However, a recent survey by Acas found that 43% of employers were unaware of the changes to the flexible working regime (www.acas.org.uk/7-out-of-10-employees-are-unaware-of-new-law-changes-to-flexible-working). It is important that employers are aware of, and prepared for, these changes.
