Restructuring and Insolvency: This webinar will look at the use of the Part 26A Companies Act 2006 restructuring plan to date and key points arising. It will also provide an update on recent developments in insolvency law and point out things to watch out for over the next 12 months, for example, connected party sales regulations, the anticipated increased in formal insolvency and the use of the moratorium procedure and the ending of temporary measures introduced in light of COVID-19. 19 October 2021. Data Protection: What to watch out for in data protection? In this webinar we will run through data protection issues currently facing UK businesses and look at what is on the horizon. 26 October 2021 (Speaker: Marcus Evans).

Disputes: This webinar will provide an update on recent cases relevant to the work of in-house lawyers and company secretarial teams. 28 October 2021 (Speaker: Andrew Judkins).

Corporate: This webinar will focus on recent company law, corporate governance and ECM  developments, including narrative reporting developments and recent consultations, that in-house legal and company secretarial teams should be aware of. 02 November 2021 (Speakers: Deborah Wilcher and Jo Chattle).

Pensions: The Pensions Regulator’s wide reaching new powers come into force on October 1. In this webinar we explain how this may affect the payment of dividends, business as usual or otherwise, by companies with defined benefit pension schemes and what steps they should take to protect themselves. 04 November 2021. (Speakers: Lesley Browning and Julia Chirnside).

Tax: The international tax world is in a state of flux, with wide ranging proposals on where profits are taxed and what rate of tax should apply being developed before a meeting of the G20 in October. We will outline the proposals and the issues that the board room should start to consider. 09 November 2021. (Speaker: Dominic Stuttaford).
