Norton Rose Fulbright represents National Grid Ventures in the formation of a joint venture for offshore wind projects

Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright represented National Grid Ventures in the formation of a joint venture with RWE Renewables with the goal of developing offshore wind projects in the New York Bight.
 
Located in the waters of the Atlantic ocean, the New York Bight is a geographical region between Long Island and the New Jersey coast that has unleased sea bottom ripe for wind turbine construction. National Grid Ventures is the non-regulated division of National Grid plc, one of the largest investor-owned energy companies in the world. RWE Renewables is one of the world’s leading renewable energy companies.
