Biography
Samantha Cass has a diverse labour and employment law practice concentrating on judicial review proceedings, appeals and complex legal issues.
Samantha is known for her strong legal analysis and writing skills, which she employs to deliver clear, strategic advice to clients facing challenging workplace and regulatory matters. Samantha has a particular interest in written advocacy and is routinely called upon to draft persuasive submissions on behalf of clients in complex litigation involving a range of legal issues, including constitutional matters.
In representing clients before a variety of courts and tribunals, including the Ontario Labour Relations Board, the Canada Industrial Relations Board, the Ontario Superior Court, the Court of Appeal for Ontario, the Federal Court and the Federal Court of Appeal, Samantha draws from her experience as a former judicial law clerk at the Court of Appeal for Ontario, where she worked closely with several appellate judges on civil and criminal appeals.
