The Pensions Administration Standards Association (PASA) has published a toolkit to help those schemes with more than one administrator connect to pensions dashboards.

All parts of a scheme should connect on the same date and compliance should be straightforward where a scheme only has one administrator. However, where a scheme has more than one administrator, including those with a separate AVC administrator, achieving compliance will require all providers to connect on the same date.

If a scheme fails to connect all parts together, this will be a breach of the regulations. However, the guidance recognises that there may be instances where this is unachievable. The regulator has said it will not normally consider such a breach significant if prompt action is taken to connect all parts of the scheme by the overall deadline of October 31, 2026.

Trustees should follow the Regulator’s breach of law guidance to consider whether they need to report such a breach.
