Biography
Susan Rose is a capital markets lawyer based in London.
Susan has extensive experience in advising corporate trustees and agents on a broad range of financing transactions, including bonds (Eurobonds, high yield, EMTN programmes, repackagings, convertibles/exchangeables); securitizations (asset backed, whole business, CDOs); structured financings; secured lending and project finance.
Susan also advises corporate trustees and agents on liability managements, restructurings, defaults and distressed transactions.

- Citibank as offshore security agent - on several project financings for a leading Saudi developer and operator of power generation and desalinated water production plants.
- Cell C - on the 2022 restructuring of its US$184m 8.625 percent First Priority Senior Secured Notes due 2020, via a consent solicitation which included the exchange and write down of the Notes.
- HSBC as security agent and indenture trustee - on a US$1.15bn bank and insurance linked catastrophe bond program to provide reinsurance and retrocessional protection against underwriting losses.
- Deutsche Bank as facility agent, security agent, custodian, account bank and cash manager - on a loan secured by an underlying portfolio of loans and bonds.
- Citibank as Sukuk delegate, offshore security agent, paying agent and account bank and Mashreqbank as onshore security agent - for a private placement Sukuk transaction secured by a pool of car mortgages and related receivables.
- Bank of New York Mellon - on several Russian related LPNs following the imposition of sanctions
- Madison Pacific Trust Limited as trustee - on Metinvest B.V.'s concurrent consent solicitations for a number of its bond issuances.
- Deutsche Bank as trustee and agents - on a number of existing DECO CMBS securitizations.
