Brett practices in insurance with a focus on a broad range of business lines including professional indemnity, D&O, public and products liability, casualty, workers' compensation and occupational health and safety.
Brett acts for domestic and London based insurers as well as ASX listed corporates. He also acts for underwriters in primary and on excess layers, has advised on the interaction between insurance layers where underwriters’ position may not be ad idem, and has acted in claims with uninsured components balancing the interests of insurer and insured.
