Peter Cash is a commercial dispute resolution lawyer based in Melbourne. He is also Head of the firm’s Melbourne office.
Peter draws on a broad range of experience including superannuation litigation, partnership and joint venture disputes, product liability, trade practices, inquests, corporate governance disputes, information privacy and credit law compliance, negotiable instrument and banking disputes and fraud prevention and investigation.
As well as conducting litigation in the Supreme and Federal Courts, Peter represents clients in relation to ACCC and ASIC investigations. He acts for a wide variety of industry clients from film to finance and from motorcycle manufacturers to pharmaceutical companies.
Peter’s expertise includes large-scale matters involving substantial discovery and trans-national evidence collection. Between 2004 and 2008, Peter led the successful defence of a AUD$700 million claim made against GlaxoSmithKline, directing a team which included 20 solicitors, 11 counsel and more than 100 paralegals.
