Christopher Guerreiro practises contentious intellectual property dispute resolution and litigation, with an emphasis on patents and issues affecting the life sciences, healthcare, and other high-technology industries. Mr. Guerreiro has particular experience with complex pharmaceutical and medical-device patent infringement and impeachment actions, as well as prohibition and damages proceedings under the Patented Medicines (Notice of Compliance) Regulations. During his articles, Mr. Guerreiro gained additional perspective on the commercial and regulatory dimensions of the innovative pharmaceutical industry while on secondment to the in-house legal team at GlaxoSmithKline.

While studying at Osgoode Hall Law School, Mr. Guerreiro was recognized for achieving top standing in areas including evidence, civil procedure, conflict of laws, business law, and contracts, and graduated second in his class. Mr. Guerreiro has continued his involvement with Osgoode as a member of the upper-year theory and practice of negotiation teaching team.

Mr. Guerreiro joined our Toronto office as a summer student in 2011 and returned as an articling student in 2012–2013.
