Europe

  • In 2013 we were awarded a ‘Big Tick’ award for responsible business by Business in the Community. Our women's development programme, the Career Strategy Programme and our approach to talent management received special mention.
  • Our London office was listed as a Top 50 Employer for Women by The Times in 2013.
  • In 2011 we won the Talent Management Award at the European Euromoney Women in Business Awards.
  • We were placed 1st amongst the top 10 legal practices in the UK's Black Solicitors Diversity League Table in 2007, 2008, 2012 and 2013.

The United States

  • The Women in Law Empowerment Forum listed our US practice as one of its 2012 Gold Standard Certificate firms.
  • The Network Journal named one of our female partners in the US one of 25 Influential Black Women in Business in 2012.
  • Euromoney Legal Media Group short-listed our US practice and three female partners in the US for its inaugural Americas Women in Business Law Awards in 2012.
  • The New York State Bar Association selected one of our female partners as recipient of the Kay Crawford Murray Award in 2012. This award recognizes a lawyer with a distinguished legal career who has increased the value of diversity in the legal profession and has advanced the professional and personal development of women lawyers.
  • The Working Mother and Flex-Time Lawyers has named our US practice one of the Best Law Firms for Women in 2012, citing our support of women-friendly policies and its efforts to retain and promote top female legal talent.
  • MultiCultural Law Magazine ranked our US practice among the Top 100 Law Firms for Diversity in 2012.
  • The US practice earned the top rating of 100 percent on the Corporate Equality Index (CEI) in 2011, a survey administered by the Human Rights Campaign Foundation.

Latin America

  • Our Caracas office won the Best Gender Diversity Initiative in Venezuela Award from Chambers and Partners at the Chambers Women in Law Awards Latin America in 2012.

Australia

  • We were awarded Best Gender Diversity Initiative by an International Firm and named Best International Firm for Talent Management by Euromoney Australasia Women in Business Law Awards in 2012
  • Our Perth office was named Best Firm for Women in Business Law by Euromoney Australasia Women in Business Law Awards in 2012.
  • In 2012, for the second year running, we were awarded the Equal Opportunity for Women in the Workplace (EOWA) Employer of Choice for Women award in Australia.
  • In 2013, Melbourne partner, Sally Macindoe, won the Change Champion Award at the Women's Agenda Leadership Awards.
