(Enertronica), an Italian listed company active in the energy sector in Italy and around the world, on the acquisition of 70 per cent of the corporate capital of Unisun Energy (Proprietary) Limited (Unisun). Unisun owns the rights to build, connect and operate a 6 MWp solar plant at Okatope, Oshikoto Region, in Namibia. This investment follows the acquisition by Enertronica in March 2016 of Sertum Energy Namibia and falls within Enertronica’s multi-year development and industrial consolidation plan in the Sub-Saharan Africa Region, where it has been increasingly active since 2012.
