Our recent experience

  • Advising a US-based pension fund with US$800bn under management on the establishment of a strategic alliance with Mirvac Group through which the alliance will acquire prime grade Australian real estate office assets in the central business districts of Sydney and Melbourne.
  • Advising Singapore-based property investment fund Straits Advisors, on its entry into the Shanghai property market through an offshore private placement and the establishment of a PRC real estate trust structure.
  • Advising American Realty Global Trust on the purchase of RWE headquarters in Essen, Germany.
  • Advising Employees Provident Fund on three shopping centre and retail acquisition in London and across the UK for approximately £500m.
  • Advising a joint venture backed by SP Setia Berhad, Sime Darby Berhad and Employees Provident Fund on the £400m purchase of Battersea Power Station and on the £790m financing and structuring of legal ownership interests in the different phases of the development.
