Breanne Campbell has practiced in the area of civil litigation at Norton Rose Fulbright Canada since being called to the Alberta Bar in 2013. The focus of her practice has primarily been in the areas of insurance defence where she advises on claims relating to product liability, professional negligence and personal injury. She has also represented clients on various employment law matters with respect to privacy legislation, workers’ compensation appeals, disability and pension claims. In addition, she practices in insolvency and commercial litigation matters, acting for both secured and unsecured creditors in various enforcement and debt collection matters.

Before attending law school, Ms. Campbell worked as a clerk in the Alberta criminal courts.

    • In corporate insolvency proceedings (including CCAA and bankruptcy proceedings)
    • A major Canadian bank in defence of wrongful dismissal actions, including a successful summary judgment application
    • In major litigation defending against claims brought by various Indian bands to mineral title
    • On behalf of professional insurance agencies in defence of psychologists, dentists, and lawyers
    • On behalf of a multinational manufacturer in relation to product liability defence concerning a fire allegedly caused by a design defect
