Thomas Timmermans is an employment and labour lawyer (advocaat) based in Amsterdam, and is team member of our employment and labour practice. He as experience in a wide range of employment law-related matters, varying from dismissals, restructurings and union and works council relationships to compliance, employee benefits, remuneration and (cross-border) corporate law-related employment matters. Within these areas of law, Thomas has particular knowledge and experience in the field of outsourcing/transfer of undertaking and employee representation.
Thomas has 9 years of experience, of which 7.5 practising employment law in Amsterdam. He currently advises various Dutch and international companies in their day-to-day business on all employment related law issues on an on-going basis.
Thomas graduated in Law and holds a LL.M master’s degree at the University of Utrecht. He successfully completed the post-graduate specialization course Employment Law at Grotius Academie at the University of Nijmegen.
