Michael Viner is developing a broad practice with a focus on public and private mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, and securities matters.
Mr. Viner joined our Toronto office as a summer student in 2014 and returned to complete his articles the following year. During his articles, Mr. Viner was seconded to the legal department of the Royal Bank of Canada where he gained valuable experience working on securities and regulatory matters.
While in law school, Mr. Viner participated in the Queen’s Chapter of Pro Bono Students Canada where he led a seminar on the topic of commercial leases to small business owners in the Town of Greater Napanee.
Prior to joining us, Mr. Viner completed an internship working in the Trade Department at the Canadian Embassy in Washington, D.C.
