Graham Read is a construction and infrastructure lawyer based in Sydney.
Acting for both public and private sector clients, Graham has extensive experience in leading negotiations and documenting complex construction and other commercial arrangements.
Graham regularly acts for Government and private sector clients in connection with the planning and delivery of high profile projects nationally. In addition to his work in procurement and construction, Graham undertakes a range of other legal work for his clients including the negotiation of commercial and funding agreements, advising on tender processes and contract administration issues.
Graham brings particular insight and experience through his previous senior legal roles with the NSW Government. Prior to recommencing private practice over 10 years ago, Graham was General Counsel at NSW Treasury Corporation and subsequently NSW Roads and Traffic Authority (now Roads and Maritime Services). During this time Graham played a key role in major public procurement projects from planning and development through to tendering and negotiation, project administration and dispute resolution.
