Tom Jarvis is the Leader of Norton Rose Fulbright Australia's Disputes Practice Group, comprising the Litigation and Dispute Resolution, Insurance, Construction and Engineering, Planning and Environment, Employment and Occupational Health Safety and Security teams. The Group consists of some 65 partners and approximately 250 other professional staff. Tom is also a member of Norton Rose Fulbright Australia's Executive Management team.
Tom is a commercial litigator and antitrust, competition and regulatory specialist based in Melbourne. He has more than 20 years' experience litigating on behalf of corporate and government clients before State and Federal courts and tribunals. His particular skill is in the strategic management of protracted legal disputes - to pre-empt, resolve or litigate them.
Tom acts for clients from a wide variety of industries including the construction, energy, government, FMCG, franchising, infrastructure, manufacturing, media, primary industry, professional services, property, resources, retail, technology and transport sectors.
Tom is a member of the Federal Litigation Section and the Competition and Consumer Committee of the Law Council of Australia. He is a member of the Commercial Court Users Group, an advisory group to the Supreme Court of Victoria.
