Lisa Koch is lawyer in the banking and finance team in London. She advises banks, funds, listed and private sponsors, and traders on projects and related transactions in the mining, infrastructure and commodities markets.
Lisa’s focus is on cross-border and international transactions, with a particular focus on African mining and infrastructure financing. She works closely with banks and sponsors on the structuring and bankability aspects of mining projects, to ensure lenders’ concerns are addressed whether a project finance structure or an alternative form of financing is used. She has advised extensively on offtake transactions in the metals and minerals sector, in relation to offtakes linked directly to financing arrangements, and stand alone offtakes which need to be bankable.
Lisa has worked in the Norton Rose Fulbright Cape Town office, and is a qualified attorney in South Africa as well as a solicitor in England and Wales.
