Norton Rose Fulbright recognised in the Stonewall Top 100 Employers 2015

Second consecutive year in the Top 100

January 15, 2015

Global legal practice Norton Rose Fulbright has been recognised in the annual Stonewall Top 100 Employers 2015 for the second year running.

The survey celebrates Britain’s best employers for lesbian, gay and bisexual staff and the work they do in tackling discrimination and creating an inclusive workplace. The Top 100 list is based on the results of Stonewall’s 2015 Workplace Equality Index which evaluated responses from over 9,700 lesbian, gay and bisexual employees.

Norton Rose Fulbright has an active lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and allies (LGBTA) network which runs a number of networking and professional development events for employees and clients, in addition to supporting LGBT charities through fundraising, events and volunteering. Similar networks have been established in offices in Australia, Canada and the United States.

Owen Mulholland, banking partner in the Norton Rose Fulbright London office and senior champion of Norton Rose Fulbright’s LGBTA network, commented:

“We are very proud to be included in the Top 100 for a second year running. At Norton Rose Fulbright we value differences and work hard to create a culture of respect for each individual and our inclusion in the survey is testament to this. Through our LGBTA network we will continue to promote diversity and inclusion across the practice.”

Simon Feeke, Stonewall Director of Workplace Programmes, said:

‘Norton Rose Fulbright and every single employer who secured a position on the Stonewall Top 100 Employers 2015 list performed remarkably this year. Competition has never been fiercer and the new criteria this year has pushed all of the Top 100 to work harder than ever before.’

The London LGBTA network is sponsored by Owen Mulholland and ally Mike Rebeiro and is co-chaired by Tim Baines and Jamie Morton.
