Allison M. Lange Garrison
Allison focuses on business litigation and data privacy and security matters, notably in the life sciences, healthcare, and technology industries.
Allison has considerable litigation experience in contract disputes, business torts, antitrust, and products liability, and she regularly defends clients in government investigations. Her experience extends from representing executives and small businesses, to participating in complex and multi-district litigation.
Allison has demonstrated experience in information security and data privacy, advising clients on transactional and compliance matters as well as responding to data breaches. She also regularly advises clients on compliance with federal and state consumer protection laws, notably the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA).
Business clients appreciate a legal partner who can quickly develop a deep understanding of their business and its ethos. Allison has a particular talent for grasping the most technical and complex points of her clients' business, in order to best present their position to the court and opposing parties. Allison maintains close communication with her clients, to guide them through case developments and support them in their legal decision-making.
After graduating magna cum laude from the University of Minnesota Law School, Allison clerked for the Honorable Matthew E. Johnson of the Minnesota Court of Appeals, where she gained real insight into what motivates judicial decision-making.
Away from the office, Allison is devoted to raising her two young boys with her husband Dylan, and spending time—preferably outdoors—with family and friends.
