Samantha E. Beltre
Samantha Beltre joined the New York office in 2005 and practices in the labor and employment group. As a senior associate, Samantha assists with various aspects of collective bargaining and labor arbitrations, the representation of employers in matters before various government agencies including the US Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and other state and local agencies, with respect to charges of employment discrimination, the US Department of Labor and New York State Department of Labor with respect to wage and hour issues, and the National Labor Relations Board. Samantha also assists in the representation of employers before state and federal courts, prepares and reviews employee handbooks and policies, employment agreements, separation agreements, settlement agreements, and advises employers on various labor and employment matters.
Prior to joining the New York office, Samantha spent time as a legal intern for the US Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of New York. Samantha also interned at the Lawyers Alliance for New York, providing transactional legal assistance to non-profit organizations.
Prior to law school, Samantha worked for more than five years for Chess-in-the-Schools, a non-profit organization that teaches chess to students in New York's inner-city public schools. She worked directly with students as well as in the overall management of the organization.

Memberships and activities
Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright has advised ROFIN-SINAR Technologies, Inc. on an agreement with Coherent, Inc. under which Coherent will acquire ROFN-SINAR for $32.50 per share. The transaction is valued at approx. $942 million and is expected to close within six to nine months, subject to the approval of ROFIN-SINAR stockholders as well as regulatory approvals in the US and other countries..
