Biography
Alex is a lawyer in the Global data protection, privacy and cybersecurity practice. He advises clients across a broad range of cyber security and data protection issues, from preparedness to incident response and recovery (including regulatory investigations and litigation).
He has particular experience in advising large healthcare, financial services and technology companies in relation to cyber incidents and disputes, with a focus on ransomware and extortion attacks. He has a keen interest in the technical and forensic elements of cyber-incidents, and ensuring there is a strong connection between the legal and IT teams he advises. Alex is also experienced in preparing and delivering tabletop and cyber simulation exercises at an executive and board level.
Currently based in London, Alex was previously an Associate in a large global law firm, and is qualified in New South Wales, Australia.
