NRF Parker - Insurance chatbot


On October 1, 2018, the Insurance Distribution Directive (IDD) came into effect across and Europe. Ask Parker for guidance on the new Directive. Parker will provide guidance on other new laws and regulations relevant to the insurance sector, as they evolve.

On November 1, 2018, the new mandatory data breach regulations under the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) came into effect in Canada. Ask Parker whether you need to report a particular data breach.



On June 17, 2019 the new Canadian trademark law came into force. The upcoming amendments will introduce substantial changes to the Canadian trademark landscape that will allow Canada to implement the Madrid Protocol and Nice Classification, and will streamline the registration process.
