Biography
Jo Crew is a project finance and development partner based in Melbourne.
She has over 15 years of experience advising both sponsors and lenders on all aspects of the development, financing and acquisition of major infrastructure, PPP and energy projects. Jo also advises on power purchasing and electricity, green credits energy trading contracts, and greenfields power projects, including thermal, wind, hydro and solar projects.
Jo’s recent experience in the development and financing of major projects includes advising the financiers to the ALTRAC Sydney Light Rail PPP, a consortium on its bid for the Perth Stadium PPP project, AMP on the acquisition and refinancing of the Royal North Shore Hospital and Victorian Schools PPP projects, the financiers to a bid for the Toowoomba Second Range Crossing road PPP, the financiers to the Plenary Health Victorian Comprehensive Cancer Centre PPP; the financiers to the Commonwealth Single LEAP2 defence housing PPP, Verve Energy and GE Energy on the development of the 10MW Greenough River Solar PV Project in Western Australia, the financiers to the Macarthur Wind Farm in Victoria, the Egypt Electricity Transmission Company and Fichtner GmbH & Co. KG on the development and power purchase documents for the 250MW IPP wind power project at Gulf of Suez, Egypt, Electricity de Mozambique on the financing and development contracts for the refurbishment of the Chicamba and Mavuzi hydro power projects in Mozambique, the lenders to the Griffin Worsley Cogeneration Project in Western Australia, including restructuring arrangements and advising the lenders to Perth Energy Swift Kwinana dual fuelled power project.
