Kurt Wicklund is a commercial and projects lawyer in the Canberra office.
Kurt has extensive experience advising clients on infrastructure and utilities projects, including in relation to public sector procurement, technology contracting and asset management. Kurt provides pragmatic and commercial advice to government bodies, private investors and project developers on all aspects of project development and operation. He has a particular focus on commercial agreements underpinning the management of critical assets and infrastructure within complex regulatory environments, such as in the energy, waste, defence, rail and telecommunication sectors.
He has experience drafting and negotiating a range of project documentation, including O&M contracts, PPP documentation, project alliance agreements, joint ventures, asset management agreements, power purchasing agreements, project development frameworks, ICT procurement and supply contracts.
Kurt has a passion for sustainability and supporting the role all sectors of the economy can play in the energy transition.
