Laura Waterford is an energy and environment and planning lawyer based in Sydney.
She advises private sector clients on environmental assessment and development pathways for major projects, particularly in relation to wind and solar energy projects.
Laura also acts for private sector clients on the negotiation of corporate power purchase agreements in relation to offtake arrangements for renewable energy projects and conducts environmental and planning due diligences for corporate transactions involving real property.

Advising a large property investor with NEM-wide assets on its contractual arrangements with its preferred retail provider on a sleeved basis to provide renewable electricity and enable surrender of green products procured under alternative arrangements with the sleeved retailer of choice.
Advised the Sydney Harbour Foreshore Authority on the property aspects of the redevelopment of the IMAX Theatre on Darling Harbour, including negotiating and drafting the Agreement for Lease.
