Claire Poyser is a corporate and commercial lawyer based in Melbourne.

She has experience advising clients across a range of corporate, commercial and competition matters with a particular focus on consumer markets and the automotive industry.

Prior to joining the firm, Claire was the Consumer Affairs and Dispute Resolution Advocate at Nissan Motor Company Australia. In that role, she was responsible for the Australia-wide case management of and representation in consumer disputes at regulator and tribunal level. During her time at Nissan, Claire developed and delivered an Australian Consumer Law training for dealership staff and an Australian Consumer Law compliant customer service guide & associated processes for the Customer Experience team. 

Claire has a broad legal background in private practice, that encompasses general commercial, franchising, competition, consumer, employment and occupational health and safety law experience. As part of her Graduate Program, Claire was seconded to our London Asset Finance team in 2019.
