Christian Landeta provides assistance to counsel at all stages of patent, trade-mark and copyright litigation. He assists counsel in managing large-scale, document-intensive litigation, from inception through trial.
Mr. Landeta specializes in the design and implementation of databases to manage voluminous documentation and information produced during litigation and develops data management strategies with respect to same.
He also assists with the preparation of various court documents such as affidavits, motion records, application records, and bills of costs. Mr. Landeta prepares transcript summaries and manages undertakings and refusals arising out of examinations for discovery and liaises with our other offices to coordinate court filings and service of documents on opposing counsel.
Mr. Landeta provides user support and training to lawyers and staff in the use of Summation and is a Summation Support In-House Specialist (SSIS), a Summation Certified Case Manager (SCCM), a Summation Certified Administrator (SCA), and a Summation Certified Enduser (SCE). He completed the "eDiscovery Advanced Theory and Practice, Fellowship-level Course" at the Institute of Law Clerks of Ontario in 2016.
