Adam Haller practises in all aspects of intellectual property law with an emphasis on complex patent and trade-mark litigation.
He regularly acts in infringement, validity, and damages matters for clients in a variety of industries, including the pharmaceutical, energy, and financial services sectors and has experience in matters before the Federal Court, Federal Court of Appeal, Ontario Superior Court, and proceedings under the Patented Medicines (Notice of Compliance) Regulations.
Mr. Haller is also a registered trade-mark agent who regularly advises clients on acquiring, licensing and enforcing trade-marks and brands. He acts in trade-mark opposition and cancellation proceedings, domain name disputes, infringement and passing off actions and provides strategic advice relating to the use and protection of intellectual property online.
He recently returned to Toronto following completion of a year-long secondment to our office in Sydney, Australia.
