Maxwell Radway joined our Toronto office in 2016 after articling at a leading employment and labour law firm.
Mr. Radway practises all areas of employment and labour law, including employment standards, human rights, wrongful dismissal, disability benefits, workplace investigation and labour arbitration. He has a strong focus on advocacy and litigation and occupational health and safety.
Mr. Radway also regularly acts on cross-border matters, including drafting employment policies and contracts that require reconciling the laws of several jurisdictions.
Mr. Radway has experience with negotiating settlements and with advocacy in various forums. He has successfully argued dismissal for cause on multiple occasions.
While in law school, Mr. Radway participated in a number of advocacy competitions, including representing his law faculty internationally at the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot in Vienna, Austria. Mr. Radway also twice served as president of the Queen's Law Litigation Society and volunteered with both Queen's Legal Aid and the Queen's Business Law Clinic.
