Biography

Steven Xia is a corporate lawyer based in Shanghai.

Steven is experienced in corporate matters, covering foreign direct investment, joint ventures, private equity, venture capital and acquisitions. Steven has a particular focus on financial sector (including advising financial institutions and transnational clients on a broad spectrum of regulatory and compliance matters/projects) and technology, media and telecom (TMT) sectors. He qualified in China in 2017 and had worked for four years with two PRC local law firms (practising corporate matters) before joining us in 2021. He also qualified in New York State in 2020.

Steven received an LL.B. degree from Fudan University and an LL.M. degree from New York University in the United States.

Steven is a native speaker of Mandarin Chinese and is fluent in English.
