Dr Florian Pötzlberger is a litigation and dispute resolution lawyer based in our Munich office.
He represents clients in a variety of complex international and national disputes, with a focus on insurance law disputes. In particular, Florian advises and represents insurance companies in respect of claims relating to D&O policies, including questions of directors' and officers' liability and insolvency law. In addition, he is experienced in advising and representing our clients in transport and competition law disputes, as well as in the defense of mass claims.
Florian studied law at the University of Augsburg, including lengthier stays abroad in Chicago, London and Toronto. He spent his legal traineeship in Munich and Melbourne and holds an LL.M. in international intellectual property law from Chicago-Kent College of Law, USA. He was awarded a doctorate (Dr. iur.) from Goethe University Frankfurt. Before joining us, Florian worked for a renowned German business law firm.
He is a member of the Munich Bar Association and is a German native speaker and fluent in English.
