Warsaw team advises financial institutions on financing granted to Corab

Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright advised a syndicate formed by domestic financial institutions on a complex transaction involving PLN 330m (approx €70.5m) financing with the option of increase under the incremental facility up to PLN 500m (approx. €107m).

The syndicate included Powszechna Kasa Oszczędności Bank Polski S.A., Bank Polska Kasa Opieki S.A. and Santander Bank Polska S.A. as original lenders, as well as Powszechna Kasa Oszczędności Bank Polski S.A. as arranger, facility agent and security agent.

The Warsaw team drafted and negotiated complex financial documentation. 

The funds will be used for the purpose of repaying the refinanced debt and to finance its ongoing business operations.

Corab S.A. is a leading Polish manufacturer of photovoltaic systems and distributor of equipment of renowned brands, being one of the leaders in the renewable energy industry in Poland and Europe. 

The Warsaw team was led by counsel Jacek Smardzewski and included associate Michał Rutkowski and paralegal Mateusz Głaz. The team worked under the supervision of Grzegorz Dyczkowski, who heads the Warsaw office and the firm’s Warsaw banking and finance practice.
