April Birring is a financial services regulatory lawyer based in London. She advises on EU and UK financial services regulatory law across the markets, asset management, and retail sectors, including AIFMD, MiFID II, EMIR, the Consumer Credit Act, and PSD 2. She also advises clients in relation to LIBOR transition and regulatory compliance, including conduct risks, compliance policies and procedures, and customer communications.

April advises a broad range of clients in both the retail and wholesale sectors.

April joined our London office in February 2018 and qualified in March 2020, having spent six months on secondment to our Singapore office during her time as a trainee.
