Eliana Miliou is a banking and finance lawyer based in Athens.

She joined the London office as a trainee solicitor in January 2009.

Eliana advises on a broad range of international debt finance and cross-border shipping transactions. She focuses on shipping finance, acting for major international first-class banks and financial institutions (based in Europe, the United States, China and Korea) as well as leading shipping companies. She mainly works on loan and security documentation in relation to transactions that involve secured or unsecured facilities, bond issues and other banking products in respect of newbuilding vessels (including pre- and post- delivery aspects) and second-hand vessels. Eliana has worked on several syndicated and bilateral financings and revolving credit facilities and has also gained experience in real estate, infrastructure and project finance and in transactions that involve problem loans, re-financings and restructurings.

Eliana is qualified as an English solicitor and is a member of the Law Society of England & Wales. She obtained her undergraduate degree and postgraduate degree from King's College London (University of London).
