Panagiotis Fokas is a banking and finance lawyer based in Athens. He specialises in shipping finance.

He acts for international banks and financial institutions as well as shipowning groups in respect of loan and lease financings for both newbuilding and second-hand ships. Panagiotis has also experience on yacht financing and ship sale & purchase transactions.

He is dual qualified as an English solicitor and a Greek lawyer and is a member of the Law Society of England & Wales and the Piraeus Bar Association. He has earned a postgraduate degree on International Shipping law from Queen Mary University of London and an undergraduate degree from the School of Law of the Democritus University of Thrace.

Prior to joining the firm in 2024, Panagiotis worked for an international shipping law firm in Piraeus.
