Biography
Anthony Lee is a banking and finance lawyer based in Hong Kong.
He advises financial institutions and borrowers on a range of domestic and cross-border general banking transactions, including syndicated/bilateral term and revolving facilities. Anthony also advises on maritime financing transactions including sale and leaseback transactions and ECA-supported loan facilities.

- A syndicate of banks led by Industrial Bank – on a US$140m (with incremental facilities) sustainability-linked loan made available to a HK energy company, guaranteed by its SZSE listed parent and the Singapore SPV target, for the financing of an acquisition of a nickel smelter project in Indonesia.
- CMBI – on a US$40m margin finance facility supported by ordinary shares and ADS of a NYSE listed company.
- A Chinese investment firm – on a US$115m bridge loan facility in the form of guaranteed notes supported by ordinary shares listed on the HKSE.
- A syndicate of banks led by MUFG, Bank of China (Hong Kong) and HSBC – on a HK$600m transferable sustainability-linked loan facility made available to Handsome Chemical Services Limited, guaranteed by Yip's Chemical Holdings Limited.
- A syndicate of fourteen banks led by HSBC – on a US$270 million and HK$2,300 million dual tranche term facility to leading Chinese property developer Greentown China listed on HKSE (3900.HK).
- Chinese, Japanese and Hong Kong transport companies as sponsors – advised the owners/lessors on the pre-delivery sale and leaseback financing of six 174,000 CBM liquefied natural gas carrier to the sponsors.
- Chinese leasing companies as sponsors – on a US$80,000,000 term loan facility for the post-delivery financing of one 79,960 CBM liquefied natural gas carrier.
- CMB Financial Leasing – on the sale and leaseback financing of five LR1 product tanker for Hafnia.
- BOCOMM Leasing – on the sale and leaseback financing of two newbuild 174,000 CBM liquefied natural gas carrier under sub-charter for Angelicoussis.
