Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright has expanded its financial institutions team with the hire of Chris Thornes, formerly of HSBC.
Chris, who was previously General Counsel, Group M&A, at HSBC for seven years, will focus on strategic M&A and corporate advisory work for banks and other financial institutions.
Prior to HSBC, Chris was a partner at Allen & Overy for 10 years, having also trained and qualified at that firm.
