Amanda Chaboryk
Disputes and Litigation Data Lead
About me
I joined Transform’s Practice Services team in 2019 with the role of Legal Project Manager, and have since moved into the role of Disputes and Litigation Data Lead.
With a background in ligation and data, I am focused on developing and supporting the disputes group’s use of analytics, litigation finance, and legal technology. My responsibilities also include defining and executing strategies for the managing, sharing and optimisation of disputes data and other knowledge assets.
I am passionate about legal informatics and the intersection between law and data, which I believe has tremendous opportunity, particularly within the field of machine learning. Disputes data, (once tagged, cleaned and structured), paired with machine learning has the output of producing actionable insights that can inform litigation strategy.
From
I was born in Toronto, Ontario, but since moving to the UK, have been fortunate to live in Devon, Cornwall, and now London!
Fun fact
At the beginning of the pandemic I started running, and I am now preparing for the London Marathon for my favourite charity, Smart Works.
Previously
Before joining NRF, I’ve spent several years in the legal services industry, working at the Attorney General’s Office, other law firms, and a litigation fund.
Best part of the job
Learning new things every day from our multidisciplinary and international teams.
