Federal OSHA has announced an October 13, 2021 virtual meeting to obtain public comments on certain issues raised by its Whistleblower Protection Program. The meeting will be held from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. ET via telephone and Microsoft Teams. Those interested in participating in the meeting may register free of charge in English or Spanish by October 6, 2021.

In particular, OSHA wants to address:

  1. How it can deliver better whistleblower customer service
  2. The types of assistance it can provide to explain whistleblower laws to employees and employers
  3. What it can do to ensure that whistleblowers are protected from retaliation
