Farmida Bi CBE recognised in FN100 Most Influential Women in Finance 2025

Farmida Bi CBE, Norton Rose Fulbright’s Chair, Europe, Middle East and Asia Pacific, has been included in Financial News’ 100 Most Influential Women in European Finance list 2025 for the seventh consecutive year.
The annual list, now in its 19th year, recognises trailblazing female leaders in financial and professional services and particularly those supporting the next generation of female talent.
Farmida, who has over three decades of banking and finance experience, is widely recognised for her contributions to numerous community and charitable organisations. She has held numerous leadership roles at Norton Rose Fulbright and is a key sponsor of initiatives and programmes that support the recruitment, retention and progression of women at the firm.
Farmida is also Vice-Chair of the Disasters Emergency Committee which brings together fifteen leading UK charities to raise funds quickly in a humanitarian emergency. Additionally, she is Chair of the International Regulatory Strategy Group Council and is a member of the Board of TheCityUK, an industry-led body to champion and support the success of the UK-based financial and related professional services ecosystem. Farmida is an Honorary Fellow of Downing College, Cambridge and of The Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment.
Farmida has also featured in Financial News’ Fifty Most Influential Lawyers 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2025 lists.
