Cross-border team advises 777 Partners on the acquisition of a majority stake in Hertha BSC

Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright has advised 777 Partners LLC (777 Partners) on the acquisition of a majority stake in Hertha BSC GmbH & Co. Kommanditgesellschaft auf Aktien (Hertha BSC). The US private equity company 777 Partners will in future hold a total of almost 75 per cent of the German Bundesliga football club Hertha BSC.
777 Partners is a private investment company based in Miami, USA, which has invested in several internationally successful football clubs. The 777 Partners portfolio includes investments in Sevilla FC (Spain), Genoa FC (Italy), CR Vasco da Gama (Brazil), Standard Liege (Belgium), Red Star Paris (France) and Melbourne Victory (Australia).
777 Partners has acquired the entire stake in Hertha BSC, previously owned by Peil Investment B.V., a subsidiary of Tennor Holding B.V. (64.7%).
