Biography
Alyona Kozyreva is a corporate lawyer based in Moscow. She focuses on M&A, equity finance deals, corporate and commercial matters, energy and natural resources, and employment law.
For more than 15 years she has been advising international and domestic companies on investment schemes, M&A transactions, oil and gas, mining projects, and joint ventures. Alyona acts on a wide spectrum of corporate issues, advising on setting up businesses and various forms of corporate vehicles, complicated corporate restructurings, project finance and antitrust issues.
Alyona has written a number of articles on corporate law and is a permanent contributor to the surveys conducted by The World Bank and IFC on doing business in Russia.
Alyona graduated from Moscow State University, Philological Faculty, in 1996, and the Russian Academy of State Service under the auspices of the President of the Russian Federation, Law Faculty, where she gained a diploma with honours in 1999.
She is fluent in Russian, English, Czech and German.
