Chicago associate named 2023 Illinois Rising Star

Chicago senior associate Francesca Cardillo has been named a 2023 Rising Star in Technology Transactions by Thomson Reuters’ Super Lawyers for the third consecutive year. 

The honor recognizes lawyers who are 40 and younger or have been practicing for less than 10 years. 

Cardillo, an intellectual property and technology transactions lawyer, has worked with clients in the industries of telecommunications, transportation and logistics, medical devices, chemical manufacturing and online retail. She has been seconded with a large, international technology company and has been recognized for her ability to counsel clients with clear and practical guidance and to serve as a knowledgeable and effective partner to business-side teams.

Earlier in her career, Francesca served as a technology transactions associate for an Am Law 50 law firm and an intellectual property transactions associate for a Chicago-based boutique intellectual property law firm. She has also served as a legal intern to the Honorable Justice Steven H. David of the Indiana Supreme Court.

Selection to the Rising Stars list is based on peer nominations, evaluations and independent research.
