Katherine P. Lett



Kathy Lett joined the Dallas office in 1998. As senior counsel, she focuses her practice on various litigation matters, predominately including pharmaceutical and medical device litigation. Her pharmaceutical and medical device litigation practice focuses on the representation of leading pharmaceutical and medical device companies in multi-district products liability litigation.

Katherine is admitted to practice in the United States District Courts for the Northern, Southern, Eastern and Western Districts of Texas.

While attending law school, Kathy was a notes editor of The Review of Litigation. She was also a member of the Legal Research Board, the Board of Advocates and the Order of the Coif. She was admitted to practice law in Texas in 1998. Kathy is also admitted to practice in the Northern, Eastern, Western and Southern Districts of Texas.

Recent, significant experience includes:

Pharmaceutical and Medical Devices:

  • Representing leading medical device company in antitrust matter
  • Representing major pharmaceutical company in multiple pharmaceutical economic loss cases including RICO, consumer fraud, consumer protection and subrogation
  • Serving on national team for an international medical device manufacturer in nationwide litigation involving its female pelvic mesh product; involved in team coordination, witness preparation and discovery
  • Serving on national team for leading pharmaceutical company in a large mass tort matter involving its diabetes medication; involved in strategy, discovery, witness preparation and multiple trials  
  • Assisting with successful implementation of national settlement program for leading pharmaceutical company in connection with its contrast agent
  • Assisting in representing medical device manufacturer in multiple commercial disputes

Real Estate:

  • Obtained temporary restraining orders, temporary injunctions and receivers for clients in commercial mortgage-backed securities litigation
  • Represented restaurant company in multi-state landlord-tenant disputes
