Justin Coddington joined the Houston location in 2008. As a senior counsel, Justin's practice focuses primarily on employee benefits, ERISA and related tax matters. Justin has experience in the design, implementation and administration of defined contribution and defined benefit plans, executive compensation arrangements, nonqualified deferred compensation plans, equity-based compensation plans and welfare benefit plans. He has experience with the resolution of compliance disputes with the Internal Revenue Service and the Department of Labor.
Justin represents both employers and executives in connection with matters relating to the drafting of employment agreements, severance programs and other compensation arrangements, including compliance with Section 409A. He has experience with the employee benefits and compensation aspects of mergers and acquisitions.
