Andy Guo joined Norton Rose Fulbright's Los Angeles office in September 2015. He represents clients in a range of litigation, transactional and regulatory compliance matters. Andy assesses a variety of number of complex federal and state legal and regulatory schemes and provides practical advice to clients on numerous issues, including consumer product safety and advertising, product labeling and marketing, disclaimer and warranty matters, and privacy concerns. He assists in developing tailored solutions and policies to ensure compliance and reduce exposure to regulatory risk and litigation, and collaborates with colleagues across the globe to advise on consumer product regulatory and compliance issues.

Andy has worked on disputes relating to alleged false advertising, unfair business practices and consumer class action claims. His practice also covers an array of environmental law matters, including federal Superfund/state CEQA litigation and environmental land contamination investigations.  

Andy earned his JD from the University of Southern California Law School and his BA from New York University, and is a contributor to Norton Rose Fulbright's Consumer Products Law Blog

  • Product reporting and recalls involving the federal Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act and the Consumer Product Safety Commission.
  • Compliance with federal product packaging, labeling, and weights and measures involving the Fair Packaging and Labeling Act and Uniform Packaging and Labeling Regulation.
  • Consumer product terms of service, disclaimers and warranties under the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act.
  • Advertising issues related to minors, including advertisements directed at children and children's privacy concerns.
  • State regulatory schemes, including California's Safer Consumer Products and Appliance Efficiency Regulations.
