Ernesto is an Associate in the disputes group. He joined Norton Rose Fulbright's New York office in 2019 and moved to the Washington, DC office in 2020.

As part of the disputes group, Ernesto's practice focuses on international arbitration and complex commercial litigation. He advises and represents clients in international arbitrations, international litigations in US courts, government investigations, and complex environmental claims. 

Ernesto has experience in the various stages of litigation, including drafting briefs, dispositive motions, and settlement agreements; managing large-scale discovery; and preparing for and participating in depositions, mediations, trials, and merits hearings.

Prior to joining the firm, Ernesto served as an intern at a renowned law firm in South America.  He was also an international arbitration paralegal in the New York office of a leading international law firm where he assisted in high-profile all-Spanish and bilingual investor-State and commercial arbitrations.

Ernesto is admitted to practice in New York and the District of Columbia, and is pending admission to practice in California.

During law school, Ernesto served as a judicial intern to the Honorable Gerard E. Lynch of the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. He was also the Editor-in-Chief for Columbia Law School's American Review of International Arbitration and a New York Pro Bono Scholar.
