On March 4, 2022, federal OSHA announced US$3.2 million in new Susan Harwood Grant monies from the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 for workplace safety and health training on infectious diseases.
Training is required to address COVID-19 specifically or infectious diseases more generally. The maximum grant for a one-year period is US$160,000 per employer. Applications may be submitted online no later than 11:59 p.m. EDT on May 6, 2022. Learn more about the funding opportunity and applying for grants.
